First about the friends and pregnancies. My BFF Hollie is prego which is not new news she will be 29 wks this coming Thursday and is having a boy, Nathan. But the new prego friend news is my close friend Whit is pregnant. This is a total surprise but we are all doing everything we can to help her, she has a great family and just graduated from Beauty School and has her Hair "Did" License. She is 15 Weeks today. My NBFFW Kelly is prego also, she just found out last week and this was a total shocker. She has two sweet kids and they really wanted to wait a few more years before trying again, I guess God had other plans.
Two Sunday's ago we had a bad round of storms. The boys play house was blown aross the yard, the fence fell over, the roof we beat to He** from Hail LOL and our windows were dinged up too. We waited a few days before calling the insurance company and they are actually coming out today. We also had a brief hail storm last Tuesday, Jimmy got a pretty good sized crack in his windsheild from that, and wouldn't you know our deductible is higher then the windshield costs, LOL. Always something.
Now onto my sewing orders before I talk about my sweet family. I bought some new patterns and decided I would try one out. I made my Niece Ireland a sunsuit for her upcoming 2nd Birthday and I think it turned out amazing I even made a fabric flower hair clip to match. I also bought a ruffle diaper cover pattern, I have the fabric cut and hope to start sewing it soon. I have also kept busy with some baby set orders, they are so cute and fun.
When I'm not sewing I have been doing quite a bit of reading on my Nook COLOR my boys got me for my birthday, I'm right in the middle of Eat Pray Love. Totally love that book.
Now onto my sweet family. Jimmy has been playing Men's League Softball on Wednesday Nights with his friends. It is fun but defeating at the same time, they signed up for a higher league then they should have and they are getting their butts whooped every game but they are getting better and hope to move down just for the summer. It is suppose to be fun and not a beating. LOL. I made the boys shirts with Jimmy's number on them, they love wearing them and Trenton asks every week if we get to go to that weeks game. The season ends this week so we will be going to the double header as a family Wedneday, weather premitting of course.
Trenton, my sweet Trenton. We have discovered that he got my strong dislike for storms. He did tell his first joke the other day, he is getting to be so funny and grown up. It is hard to believe I will have a Kindergartener soon, man that makes me feel old. He is excelling in school and loves every minute of it. We have decided as a family to keep him in Private School through Kinder to give him that much more of a leg up since his 5th birthday is 1 day before the start of school. He will be learning on a 1st grade level come August 22nd. We are still working on reading and tying shoes. He is looking forward to the summer and going to the water park.
Jackson, my crazy "bipolar" child. One minute that boy will scream and cry (rare but when it happens watch out) and the next he is cracking up. He is talking more and more everyday, he new words from just last week were Apple and Owl. He can string sentences together and loves to learn new words. He is still doing great in his toddler bed, he even puts himself to bed most nights LOL. He is also becoming quite the funny child, he does this mad eyebrow scrunch look on queue now. It is hiliarious. Jack will be moving schools in June. We decided it was time to move him to Trenton's school, he needs to be challenged more. So June 10th he will be leaving the safety of his In Home DayCare and June 20th he will Start Primrose. I'm nervous and excited all at the same time. He will have the same teacher Trenton had at his age and this is a great thing. They will stay there for a year and then move to the Primrose in Hickory Creek so Trenton can start Elementary School.
Me, well I'm a little all over the map lately. Jimmy and I decided it would be best for me to stop taking my birth control to see if that would help my Alopecia. Low and behold it has helped, I'm happy to report that after 10 weeks of the meds I have been actively growing hair for 5 weeks. Don't worry we aren't trying to get prego, LOL. We are using the Natural Family Planning Method, BC caused me horrible Migraines monthly also. Other than that I'm a little down, nothing that time can't solve though. Oh and I have made friends with an awesome girl, Morgan, she is a mommy of 1 and is dating a guy from Jimmy's softball team. They are great together. We actually "went out" Friday night with them. If anyone knows Jimmy and I they know we don't "go out" when we dont have the kids. Normally we do things around the house or go shopping, boring I know. Well we didnt have the boys Friday night so we went to dinner Friday night with Whitney, we had a great time eating and talking. Then We met up wit Morgan and TC at our house, we decided to go to Rockin Rodeo in Denton. Jimmy and I hadnt been to a bar or club in our entire dating/married life so we changed clothes quickly and got out of the house. We didnt leave until 11PM. LOL totally not me I know. We got there and grabbed a few drinks (again not like me) and played some pool and really just hung out and talked. I didnt dance, Morgan did. I later told he that she needed to be my dance instructor and teach me the dances so I could not feel like an idiot next time. LOL.
So that is our month in rewind.
