Well school is out next week for Trenton (Private Pre K) and we also have quite a few changes happening. Since we moved to Corinth last July we decided to keep the boys where they were childcare wise. Well the time has come to make our decision, I wanted to keep Trenton at the great school he was in for Private Kindergarten and just move Jack there for early preschool. Well that can't happen, Ugh. They money just isnt there, so we are moving both of the boys to a preschool/B&A School program in Hickory Creek on June 20th, and Trenton will be going to public Kinder. I'm really struggling with this, I want what is best for the boys but change isnt something I deal well with. I have undoubtedly passed that down to my sweet Trenton, not something I'm proud of but it is what it is. I didnt move around much as a kid, the one move we made was very hard on me. This moving stuff is super easy for Jimmy as his family moved every few years when he was younger. I'm happy that my sweet boys are growing up but still heart broken at the same time. Oh well this mommy will just have to get over it. LOL
We are taking a one week Staycation in a few short week so that will be nice and much needed. This Mommy is in need of some rest and family fun. We will be going to LegoLand, Fort Worth Zoo, Water Park, Discovery Day at the new School, and whatever other trouble we can get ourselved into LOL.
Now onto info about the boys:
Trenton- he is tying his own shoes about 80% of the time and has started to read easy reader Dr Seuss books. He is so excited about this. The goals I set for him to reach (he didnt really know anything about these goals) were for him to tie his school and begin reading before the end of this school year and I'm so proud and happy to say that he is doing it. He also did spring testing at his school, Bracken Testing, and in the fall he tested advanced for his age. I'm happy to again announce that in the spring testing Trenton scored Extremely Advanced, some might think this is a bad thing. Well I think totally different, he is going to be one of the youngest in his class starting public school so I really think it is great that he will have a leg up academically when he begins. I'm so excited everyday to hear his stories and the jokes that he is coming up with. We will greatly miss his Teacher, whom he has had for 2 year now, she is an amazing teacher and we just love her. We are having a problem from time to time with his attitude and being the boss, but we are working on that everyday. LOL
Jackson- He is so extremely funny and a pure joy to have him in our family. He is talking more and more everyday and even forming sentences. I still have to look at him sometimes and say, "Please speak english and not jibberish" but he is super funny doing it. He is growing like a weed and will surely be as big as Trenton soon. Jack loves to wrestle and run and run and run. He does this super funny arm pump when he runs, so cute and it warms my heart. LOL He is sleep so well in his "big boy" bed, he even puts himself to sleep. My mom and I talked last night before family dinner about this. She and my dad had them Friday night and she said they both put themselves to sleep. She was extremely surprised, and this is an everynight occurance. It is cute and awesome at the same time.
