So Saturday Oct 9th was our 5 year Wedding Anniversary. I started the day off by going to the Just Between Friends Sale with my best friend Hollie. We had a great time and I got some amazing deals and also got to look at the cute baby girl clothes. It was some much needed Mommy Time for both of us as well, 3 hours of heaven. After the shopping trip I was able to run home long enough to change clothes and hang with the family for a bit and then Trenton and I were off to a birthday party at Chuck E Cheese in Grapevine for his friend Kline. We had a good time, it was Trenton's first time at Chuck E Cheese so you can only imagine his eyes when he saw all the games. LOL. After the party we headed back to Corinth to pack up the boys clothes for a sleep over at Nanie and Papaw's house. Jimmy and I didnt have much planned for our Anniversary and we wanted to watch the Rangers Game so we decided to head to a wing joint in Denton for dinner and game viewing. Boomer Jack's seriously has the best boneless buffalo wings I have had in a while. Yummo. After that we couldn't decide what to do so we ended up heading to the Ortowski's house to hang out with them. I did manage to get 95% of our Christmas shopping completed after a trip to Wal-Mart that night so I was happy.
The next week was a blur to me, the only thing I really remember is talking about the thought of another baby. Since Jackson was born I had the urge to have another, I didn't feel complete. We weighed the pros and cons together, I know that sounds bad but it is important when you already have two wonderful boys. We were pretty sure we were set on a month to start trying next year, and how we would make the room at the front of the house dubed the "Junk Room" into a nursery. We were even talking car seats and a bigger car.
Well that all came to a screeching hault Friday Oct 15th. I took the day off work to get some much needed "Me" shopping done, Jimmy was able to go with me that day. We headed to Kohls first to look for shoes, my down fall, and they didnt have anything I was looking for (black ballet flats). So we headed to Vista Ridge Mall after a yummy lunch at Panera I was ready to shop. We headed up to AE, I was entertaining Jimmy's idea of looking for jeans there. Well after all was said and done, I started with a size 6 and left after purchasing two pairs, one a size 2 and another style in a size 4. HOLY MOLY...............I haven't been either of those sizes since before I got pregnant with Trenton, almost 5 years ago people. I was more than excited, so that made me happy to shop for more. LOL. We even stopped at Bankston Honda to see what they had to offer on their pre owned car lot. We saw a few Honda Pilots and decided it might be a good option for us. So we looked inside of one and sure enough this Momma was set on a car, LOL. We won't be buying until May or so next year but it was a start. I began thinking about life and the thought of expanding our family again. I decided that for now we were great just the 4 of us. So the 3rd baby thought is now off my mind again, and now I'm enjoying my size 2 jeans. LOLOLOLOLOL.
I did end up finding shoes though; and pair of brown and a pair of navy flip flops, a pair of sliver flats, and a pair of awesome sliver/gold flats with flowers. I was happy.
We did manage to make it to the Pumpkin Patch in Flower Mound on the 16th so I will leave you with pictures from that.
